Application Operations Expert

My responsibilities:

• Independently assuring system and App operations along the software product lifecycle
• Coordinating incidents in a global heterogeneous support structure
• Performing incident analysis & resolution with DevOps Product Team
• Consulting on capacity planning of incident handling during build stage
• Collaborating with other departments / functions to ensure BTP system availability incl. monitoring integration and activities of SAP BTP Apps
• Supporting  deployments and releases of SAP BTP Apps
• Coordinating Service Management activities in collaboration with ITSM Expert, IT Service Owner and App Owner
• Working closely with SAP QA & Automation Experts to drive quality adherence
• Ensuring functional and technical documentation and knowledge-based articles
• Driving for automation and standardization to ensure proper operations and maximized uptime
• Continuously providing improvement measures to support processes and operating models (e.g., lessons learned)

The knowledge I own:

• Experience with IT Service Management according to ITIL
• Good communication skills as well as the ability to manage escalations paths within the organisation
• Service and solution-oriented work as well as a quick grasp paired with an analytical and methodical approach to meet operations SLA's
• You’re eager to learn: once you learn something new, you are excited to evaluate it and teach it to others
• Fluency in English
• German language skills are an advantage
