Agentic Automation Developer / ML Engineer

My responsibilities:

• Implementing Agentic Automation solutions based on pre-fined blueprints and user stories provided by either central business function or through creation with Lead Developer
• Developing, integrating and maintaining machine learning and Generative AI components used by automation agents, e.g. for classification, recommendation, context understanding or decision support
• Building and configuring workflows on orchestration and automation platforms including integration with backend systems and APIs
• Ensuring solution quality through unit and integration testing, monitoring, logging and performance optimisation of automation workflows
• Collaborating closely with business teams and IT solution experts to clarify requirements, refine use cases and continuously improve implemented automations
• Documenting implemented solutions, ML models and integrations to support knowledge sharing and sustainable operations of Agentic Automation assets in close alignment with Platform Teams

The knowledge I own:

• Degree in computer science, data science, software engineering or a comparable qualification
• Hands-on experience in Machine Learning and/or Generative AI, e.g. LLMs, embeddings, PyTorch/TensorFlow, RAG pipelines
• Practical experience with at least one automation or orchestration platform (e.g. n8n, UiPath, SAP Joule or comparable tools) and with integrating APIs and services
• Proficiency in a common programming language for ML/automation (e.g. Python) and familiarity with relevant ML frameworks and libraries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a structured, reliable way of working within cross-functional teams

Desirable extras 

• Experience in BPMN 2.0 process design and/ or classic process automation via RPA
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM – IT Service Management) processes
• Experience in working with external development/service center setups or partner teams
